Crittalls Corporate W20 windows and doors have featured in a project published in Home & Design magazine. Steel Windows and Doors worked closely with the clients, a couple with three grown children – who downsized and purchased a home that needed to be rebuilt.
With the help of architect Anne Decker, the owner’s goals of blending traditional and modern elements while fitting into the neighborhood’s atmosphere were achieved. The client, formerly an interior designer, worked closely with Decker to make the new home into a place she felt comfortable in.
“The kitchen was designed by Decker around a large island with plenty of work space. White custom cabinetry is topped with two-inch-thick Imperial Danby marble counters, and above the island, oversized pendants by Kay Douglass add drama. In lieu of a formal dining room, the breakfast bay at one end of the spacious kitchen is fitted out with an elegant dining room table. A wall of windows overlooks a stucco-clad outdoor fireplace of Fendrick’s design.’You feel really good in it, with the windows all around” says the client.
The choice of Crittall W20 series windows provided the narrow sightline the client desired bringing the outside in, and ensured excellent thermal insulation. The right windows and doors for your project can make all the difference.
